Eco-friendly Funeral Flowers
Gentle Endings Funerals is privileged to collaborate with a number of eco-friendly artisan florists and flower growers. They offer bespoke floral tributes, crafted with exquisite seasonal English flowers, cultivated, in the main, locally. Embracing the rhythm of nature,
we provide a truly personal and locally sourced floral experience.

Meet Linda
Farewell flowers are a heartfelt way of saying goodbye to loved ones, and can allow us to reflect upon their life. Here at Woodchurch Cottage Flowers we feel honoured when asked to make arrangements. We specialise in expressing the essence of your loved ones be they a country lover, a gardener or just having their favourite seasonal cottage flower in an arrangement you know they would love.
We use the flowers that are grown here from April to October. However we are able to obtain flowers throughout the year, British grown whenever possible but also supplementing the flowers from other sources during the winter months.
Our flowers are a testimonial for the departed, using only natural and eco conscious mechanics.

Meet Lisa
Along with growing many of her own flowers on site, Lisa
also sources eco-friendly, home grown, chemical free
flowers from the Blooming Green.
Lisa welcomes families to come and help create
the display too if you would like.
This can be a beautiful and healing experience - spending time in our beautiful natural surroundings, working with flowers all the while knowing you are helping to make a beautiful offering for your loved one.
Whatever you want Lisa will be able to help!

Meet Sheila
Few flowers are as personal as those last blooms laid on a coffin – and yet so few standard funeral flowers say anything about the one whose life we are remembering.
Our tributes contain flowers, mainly grown here at Blue Hen Flowers, with foliage, berries, wheat and herbs depending on what is in season, and every single one is unique.
We can make special tributes for woodland burials and eco-funerals with no floral foam or single-use plastic. We have made things as various as foliage blankets, a hop blanket with grapevine and grapes, planters with cyclamen, hellebores, heather and bulbs in moss covered cardboard which was then planted with the deceased, a willow heart with roses and a sheaf of wheat, oats and dahlias, for an arable farmer who always won prizes for his dahlias.
The options are endless but the most important thing is that the flowers and foliage should reflect the person whose life is being celebrated. If you would like to include elements from your loved ones’ garden, we would welcome that.
